Job Description

Food & Water Watch is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join the Communications team to create visual concepts for various projects aimed at protecting food, water, and the climate. The role involves collaborating closely with the web team and other staff members.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing graphics for multiple channels
• Attending meetings and collaborating with stakeholders
• Utilizing the Digital Asset Management system
• Assisting the Graphic Design Lead
• Reviewing and approving Canva templates
• Performing video editing for social media
• Meeting project deadlines
• Identifying and suggesting process improvements
• Completing assigned projects

Requirements

• BS/BA in Graphic Design
• Experience in internship or entry-level graphic design role
• Portfolio showcasing past work
• Alignment with Food & Water Watch’s core values
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in using digital tools such as Asana, Figma, Adobe CC, and HTML

Additional Information

• Compensation: $45,000 - $55,750 annually
• Full-time temporary grant-funded position for one year
• Remote location within the U.S.
